Description of REA VeriCube DPM (Dome Lighting) without camera module

  • REA VeriCube DPM (Dome Lighting)
REA VeriCube DPM and REA VeriCube DF are advanced verification units for 1D barcodes and 2D matrix codes. They can assess code quality on reflective, mirror or glossy surfaces with precision.

REA VeriCube DF uses diffuse lighting for uniform illumination of the product surface, ensuring reliable verification of reflective and shiny surfaces regardless of their 3D geometry. Formerly problematic shadows and extraneous light are no longer an obstacle, resulting in reproducible and reliable measurement results.

REA VeriCube DPM achieves even more diffuse lighting. By integrating DOME lighting, it can accurately and consistently verify directly marked codes on high gloss and extremely reflective surfaces. The measurement chamber incorporates a matte white tube to facilitate this, making 3D geometries, shadow formations and extraneous light irrelevant to the quality evaluation and measurement results.

Both REA VeriCube DF and REA VeriCube DPM assess coding quality through the DPM test method ISO/IEC TR 29158. They immediately identify low first-time read speeds, enabling optimization of code print quality.
