• REA PC Scan LD4 is the only barcode verifier that works with absolute numerical values for reading and is most often used as a reference instrument.
  REA PC Scan handles barcodes up to 133 mm but is also available in the 240 mm size and is perfect to help analyse printer or press quality and dimensional variations.

  REA PC Scan uses REA's Transwin software as presentation.
  Transwin provides an easy and understandable graphical presentation that explains deviations simply and accurately to 1/1000 mm.
  REA PC Scan also handles the GS1 data structure of the codes which ensures against errors in the construction of the barcodes.
  It is the only barcode verifier that is self-calibrating. REA PC Scan has a built-in white ceramic plate to calibrate its light, the length and size is automatically adjusted based on the rail the head moves on and does not need to be calibrated.
  
  REA PC Scan can also measure surface texture and provide a graphical presentation of the surface.
  This is particularly interesting when you have problems with the barcode quality of products with a large structure such as egg trays
  It measures at a 45 degree angle and is shielded by its design from surrounding light that can affect the readings if there is, for example, full daylight.
  At the same time, REA PC Scan can change its laser beam size simply by changing the software.
  
  REA PC Scan LD4 complies like all other REA barcode instruments with the international ISO/IEC 15416 as well as traditional ISO/15420 evaluation.
