Description of Pantone Library

  • The Cotton Swatch Library provides the complete collection of Fashion, Home + Interiors (FHI) colors on cotton in the largest removable swatch size. The newly designed format is developed with the designer in mind. The improved layout of each book allows you to view 35 colors per page and 140 when the pages are expanded. The mini swatches have also been updated to include printed names on the pockets for easy identification and return. This comprehensive desktop reference of cotton swatches is ideal for designers and teams working with textiles, soft goods, and apparel. The removable, double-layered color swatches make it easy to build and share palettes and communicate color choices.

Cotton swatches measure 5 x 5 cm and are double-layered and without a back for accurate color visualization
Removable color swatches provide a reference for designers, teams, and customers
Use in conjunction with Pantone's nylon colors and polyester swatches to build dynamic color stories.
  • Updated look on uncoated paper

For many years there has been a complaint from customers to Pantone that it can be difficult to reproduce a Pantone color 100% correctly on an ordinary 4-colour offset printing press.
That is why Pantone has now chosen to change their uncoated guides to be produced so that they simulate a "Worst Case Scenario" offset printing press.
As a result, small white specks can appear in the uncoated. It is not an error, but it is pressure according to the "Worst Case Scenario".
